Some areas Infinity Ward "Draw" with an eye on a single campaign, others built from scratch. Both of them look amazing and deserve a separate conversation, so we decided to tell about them in detail.
Breakout
Breakout – a prison of a special regime on the snowy top of the mountain. Maybe it was in such a dungeon that the saboteur of the front of the Akil of the Ministry of Rype, who broke the defensive system of the Earth, would fall into the beginning of the plot regime Infinite Warfare. But the villain never reached her, escaping from under the supervision and perishing in front of the protagonist.

Breakout shootings are most often held in the very center, on a small platform at the entrance to the main prison building. You can go around this place and get to the enemy base in a roundabout way – through a cave or those same cameras with glass walls.
Crusher
Crusher is the front -line arms factory located on the outskirts of the Martian colony. This is probably part of a single infrastructure supplying the military machine of the invaders. Destroy one of these complexes, and attacks on Earth could be avoided, but the earthlings were not up to it: the holiday in Geneva was approaching.
Crusher – Medium -sized map. Running along the corridor of the complex, you need to carefully look around, because the enemy may appear from anywhere. Despite the size of the location, the snipers are almost nothing to do: the lion's share of the shootings takes place at the near distance.
Scorch
Mine on the hot surface of the asteroid. In the plot campaign, exactly the same celestial body came off orbit and headed for the sun, because of which the mines had to hide in the darkest room, and the heroes-to develop a plan for evacuation in extreme conditions.
In network mode, the asteroid is also in dangerous proximity to the luminaire, but the sun's rays do not apply damage to players. From the point of view of logic, this is strange, but it is possible to forgive the authors with such convention – to fight in the sun and constantly look for a shelter from the light would be unbearable.
Scorch is one of the few cards on which an exoskeleton can and should be used. In some places, the developers built multi-level platforms, so running along the walls and double jumping here is the key to victory.
Retaliation
Geneva Quarter, who survived the front attack. Captain Reyes, along with the crew of Retor, went to fight with villains, and the inhabitants of the small European city remained to rake ruins. The streets are cluttered with skeletons of cars, and in some buildings there are not enough walls.
In such conditions, it is necessary to fight on the Retaliation map. In the center of the arena is a hotel who knew the best times, and on the outskirts – several streets with shops. Grounded

Despite the fact that in the multiplayer, as in the plot mode, the developers worked out space setting to the fullest, there is still space for fantasy. It will be cool if Infinity Ward decides to add a map with zero gravity with future additions with future additions. Yes, it will not be easy to balance the gameplay in such a arena, but if you try and go to conventions (leave the attraction only in certain places), you will turn out great!
In addition, in solitary mode, the main character sometimes fought right in open space using the objects of the environment (elements of spacecraft, for example) and pieces of asteroids as shelters. Why not create such conditions in the multiplayer? But Captain Reyes is one of the best fighter pilots in the Galaxy! Maybe in one of the additions the developers will decide to add space battles to the network mode? We would very much like to believe in it!
In the end, I want more ordinary cards with an unusual environment. Give new arenas on the moon (as in solitary mode, again), Mars, satellites of Saturn and Jupiter, at least on the same asteroids.
Precint

Frost
Scientific Laboratory in Europe, Ice satellite of Jupiter. In one of the compartments of this complex, the action of the plot campaign Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare begins. There, we get acquainted with Admiral Salen Kotch, played by Kit Harington (John Snow from "Games of Thrones" ).
There is no time in network mode with the top of the front – you need to eliminate as many opponents as possible. It’s pointless to sit in one place on the Frost map – there are many corridors here, on which the enemy runs every now and then. Therefore, the only right option is to go and find enemies yourself.
Throwback
Quarter of the provincial city of the 1950s. Residential area – only a simulation built at a huge space station. Architects give out ultra -modern skyscrapers on the horizon and other compartments of the station above the head.
In the center of Throwback there is a small platform where the most fierce contractions will unfold, and battles with a smaller place on the outskirts of the map – in hangars and wooden two -story houses with windows open wide open.
Terminal

Skydock – one of the signs of the shipyard. Apparently, he plays the role of a steel factory or like that – in some places on the map you can notice ragless sheets of iron. And in the center of the arena there is a working rocket engine. Probably, among other things, the front conducts some tests here.
But there is no time to think about the purpose of the compartment – enemy shells are torn around. Long distances seemed to be specially created for snipers, and short transitions – for players armed with shotgun.
MayDay
Impressive spectacle: an abandoned ship balancing at the horizon of the events of the black hole. As the ship still has not sucked into a black frightening void – a big question. However, if there is an opportunity to kill enemy soldiers, then it is stupid not to take this opportunity.
Mayday – a small map with one central complex and bypass tracks on the outskirts. Despite the modest size, there is a place for snipers – there are no shortages in long distances. However, the attack aircraft will also have a lot of work.
Genesis
Headquarters on the California coast. Corresponding environment: modern office buildings, green lawn and parking for expensive cars. The exact opposite of the very first map on our list is the Breakout prison. Probably the front attack did not touch California.
Genesis unfolds fierce contractions at the near distance, so a class with a shotgun and a couple of grenade-sides will fit here.

Infinity Ward has created very unusual cards for the network mode of the new Call of Duty. This is largely the merit of the setting, and the designers have proved that they know their work.
